I made a channel on Vimeo where I'm collecting pretty much every video that I think is awesome... There are some really talented people in the Vimeo community and this is my attempt at showcasing what they've done.

Some of these videos are funny, some inspirational, some are crude, maybe I got choked up and wanted to cry because it was so sad; either way, these are awesome videos to me.

Yikes, I didn't realize I'd been away for so long.

Been in a big transition period. Started working with Common Ground Montgomery recently, and working from home, so everything got pretty hectic around here. New custom computer, internet problems, having to try to make a schedule and plan for my day (even a loose plan) otherwise I'd get way too distracted by shiny things... Gosh, don't get me wrong, I love working from home, but it's very easy to NOT take care of my responsibilities, or to get lazy, or play a new video game, or anything, except my work. That's the problem with freedom, isn't it? You tend to do whatever, but that "whatever" is exactly what you are choosing to do - and if you choose to shirk responsibility or purpose or work; who will be there to scold you? Who will be there to set you right back on track? How will you grow?

Reminds me of that Spider-Man quote: "With great power comes great responsibility." With freedom comes responsibility. But with freedom, real freedom, I think you'll want to be responsible eventually; as if that gnawing sensation of purpose just won't go away. There's no lazy enough, no couch-potato enough in you, if that "purpose" has been ignited, that is. You may wander into that slothfulness, but the real freedom to just be, it softly calls you onto more, methinks.

Hmm... Oh well, just some thoughts on a random Tuesday night.
