I'm a big fan of the phrase: "No."
It's almost magical, sometimes confrontational, but in the end, somewhat cathartic.
I'm the "no" guy at work - you want something done, don't come and ask me, because unless it's absolutely official, I'm going to tell you "no" while I'm sitting there playing solitaire or some other online game. Which I'm sure doesn't earn me any compassion points from my co-workers, but it does give them a candid response to what I think they are asking someone else to do.
I'm also a big fan of what Steve Brown says - "Jesus didn't save me to make me nice. Now stop being such a weeny." HAHAHA. Makes me laugh every time. So in the spirit of that, here's a posting, via Drew, on why one should say "no" more often.
Enjoy!
